Don't let the cute Diablita label fool you --this is a terrific bottle of wine.
The green apple, apricot and pineapple aromas leap from the glass with the 2009 Blanca. Those crisp apple and citrus flavors are upfront from the first sip, too, with good, integrated acidity. Since we introduced Blanca with the 2007 vintage, it has been one of the most popular wines we produce, and when you taste this year’s release, you’ll know why. The blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Viognier make this an approachable, enjoyable wine. It will pair well with grilled lemon chicken, mango and chili basted-shrimp kabobs, or a sunny afternoon on the beach or patio.
